Winning 2m hurdler who made a promising start in this sphere after 8 months off when close third here (15f). Quickly back on track when second at Newbury and worth another try at this trip.
Eight-time winner over hurdles and left his reappearance run behind when only narrowly denied at Hexham In June. However, his subsequent efforts have been very poor, including back chasing 3 weeks ago.
Gained a deserved breakthrough victory back over fences at Bangor in November. Clearly wasn't 100% when well held at Newbury 5 weeks ago and type to bounce back.
In fine form for Dan Skelton during the spring, winning at Chepstow and Worcester. Positive start for this yard when going close at Uttoxeter, impressing with both his jumping and enthusiasm. Player.
Much improved when switched to fences last season, completing a 4-timer at Kelso (21.6f, good to soft) in March. Ended the campaign with poor efforts at Uttoxeter/Perth but back to best when second at Newcastle last month. Not taken lightly.
Justified support when taking advantage of a much-reduced mark over C&D 4 weeks ago. Well on top that day and remains on a handy mark but not sure to be in the same sort of form this time given his career record.
Likeable sort who has resumed on the up with 2m4f handicap chase victories at Carlisle and Hexham this autumn. Failed to fire at Newcastle last time but given a break since.
Twice a winner last season and back to that level when third at Haydock last month, every chance 3 out. May come on again and has dipped below last winning mark.
Gained second C&D win in this race 12 months ago off 2 lb higher but given his running only twice since, brushed aside here on Boxing Day.

Pleasington (10/11), Genois (9/2), Fine Casting (7/1), Walk On Quest (12/1), Ned Tanner (12/1), Geryville (18/1), Doyouknowwhatimean (18/1), Hello Judge (20/1), Johnson's Blue (28/1)
PLEASINGTON wasted no time getting back on track when second at Newbury despite being unsuited by the emphasis on speed back at 2m and has races in him over this sort of trip. Doyouknowwhatimean made a bright start for this yard when second at Uttoxeter and is another to consider, while Genois remains potentially well treated on old form having won over C&D under this rider last month.
