VANTHEMAN goes well fresh and won his sole previous all-weather start over this C&D. He can make a winning return down in grade, though Night Storm has made impressive strides since returning from a layoff, winning twice including over course and distance, and looks capable of further progress on handicap debut. Of the rest, Arnhem went close in this grade here earlier in the season and could be in the mix.
