Best effort for some time when second of 7 in a handicap chase on return to action on New Year's Day. Has never been the easiest to predict but he's a player if in the same mood.
Completed hat-trick of Worcester handicap wins (all 20f) in September and continued excellent start for this yard when cashing in on a slightly lower chase mark at Market Rasen 4 weeks ago (23.9f). Unexposed over this trip so has to be of serious interest.

Irish point winner who showed ability over hurdles and chase debut fifth of 13 at Southwell (24.3f, good) in April 2024 was encouraging. Restricted to just 2 runs since but readily defied an absence starting out for new connections at Ludlow a week ago. Obvious claims given she's unpenalised.
Southwell hurdle in May 2024 who disappointed switched to fences 5 months later. Off further 14 months and showed a bit more at Hereford but he'll need to improve his jumping to progress over these obstacles. Tongue tie removed.
Showed a bit in 3 qualifying runs over hurdles in 2023/24. A point background suggests handicap chases should be his thing but didn't show much or return from near 2-year absence at Huntingdon. This will reveal more.
Had fallen a long way in the weights (still 2 lb out of the handicap) when recording a first career success on stable debut in a conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle at Exeter (23.1f, soft) last month. Disappointing from same mark at Taunton and now back over the larger obstacles.
Point winner who finished second 4 times over fences in 2023, but has lost his way.

Forecasts
Annie Express (2/1), Call Me Arthur (7/2), Hardy Buck (7/2), Orange Diamond (7/2), Moor End (6/1), Limetree Boy (12/1), There's Claude (14/1), Lord Maher (33/1), Honneur De Sivola (50/1), Voleur De Terres (125/1)
This looks a strong race for the grade. ANNIE EXPRESS has to prove she can cope with a 7-day turnaround given her lightly-raced profile but she's unpenalised for last week's Ludlow win and has the scope to rate quite a bit higher. Orange Diamond and Moor End head the opposition.
