Successful twice over C&D in autumn before finishing a creditable sixth back here in November. Not at best when ninth of 12 in handicap at Chelmsford City (7f, 9/1) 33 days ago but a return to this venue may see him bounce back.
Bounced back to form on yard debut when landing 12-runner handicap at Kempton (7f) in December and matched that form from a 3 lb higher mark when fourth of 12 in handicap at this C&D 19 days ago, doing well to make up as much ground as he did. Remains unexposed at sprint trips.
C&D winner. Three wins from 19 runs last year. Latest win at Kempton in December. 15/2, last of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW) 13 days ago, hampered/meeting with trouble in running. Better showing anticipated.
6/4 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, career best when winning 8-runner handicap at this C&D 23 days ago, keeping on final 1f. Certainly worth considering again having been nudged up 4 lb.
Mark steadily eased last year and he ran well when runner-up at Lingfield (6f) on penultimate start in December. Raced too freely when sixth of 12 in handicap (5/1) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 31 days ago and this return to sprinting promises to suit ideally.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2024. 18/1, respectable fifth of 14 in handicap at this C&D 61 days ago, unable to sustain effort. May tighten up for that run given it was his first for 5 weeks and he's lurking on a dangerous mark if things click.
C&D winner. Twelve runs since last win in 2024. 16/1, eighth of 12 in handicap at this C&D 19 days ago, merely closing up late on the back of 4 months off. Entitled to be sharper with that under his belt and another lurking on a dangerous mark.
Respectable seventh of 13 in handicap (11/2) at Doncaster (7f, good to firm), left with too much to do. Off 6 months and likely the betting can guide as to expectations. All 4 wins gained at 7f.
C&D winner. Latest win at Wolverhampton (6.1f) in October. Bit below form fifth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f, 7/1) 21 days ago, coming from a less-than-ideal position. No surprise to see a better showing.
Improved model during 2025, doubling his career tally at Beverley (5f) in August prior to signing off with a creditable second of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) in October. Cheekpieces back on ahead of return and he's worthy of respect back at this longer trip.

Forecasts
Hunky Dory (11/8), Papa Cocktail (5/1), Ararat (7/1), Sergeant Pep (8/1), Gunlock (9/1), Amazonian Dream (11/1), Bosh (12/1), Hierarchy (12/1), Hundred Caps (25/1), Beattie Is Back (40/1)
HUNKY DORY cemented the positive start made for Mick Appleby when opening his account in first-time cheekpieces over C&D 23 days ago and a 4 lb rise should see him very competitive again on that evidence. Papa Cocktail has largely held his form well this winter and he's next on the list. Gunlock, who remains unexposed as a sprinter and Sergeant Pep back at 6f complete the shortlist.
