Useful handicapper at best. Out of sorts recently, 33/1, sixteenth of 17 in handicap hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, good) 22 days ago. On handy mark but only considered if supported.
2023 Fred Winter winner who finished second in this race last year prior to winning Grand Annual at Cheltenham. Shaped encouragingly on reappearance when fifth in 20-runner handicap at Cheltenham (19.9f, good) 86 days ago. Back down in trip and still one to be interested off lower hurdles mark.
Runner-up both bumpers and went one better in Galway maiden hurdle on reappearance in October (solid form). Still looked in need of experience when well held fifth in Royal Bond Novices' Hurdle at Fairyhouse (16f, soft, 15/2) last time and could resume progress now handicapping.
Fairly useful on Flat. Promising winner of Cork maiden hurdle (Pinot Gris in third) prior to 18-month lay-off. Ran well on Flat prior to going too hard back over hurdles at Punchestown (16f, heavy, 14/1) 38 days ago. Could be worth another chance on handicap bow.
Fourteen runs since last win in 2023. Seventeenth of 19 in handicap hurdle at Navan (20f, heavy, 33/1) 35 days ago. Down in trip but appears to have returned in a lull.
Chased home promising pair when encouraging third on hurdle debut prior to finding less than looked likely in a bumper. Back on track over hurdles when winning 13-runner novice hurdle (3/1) at this course (16.1f, soft) 29 days ago. Makes handicap hurdle debut and should have more to offer.
Shaped well from long way back when third at Kilbeggan on last hurdles start and ran creditably on Flat when last seen in July. Drops back to 2m on hurdles return but is well-treated on best form and booking of Jack Kennedy catches the eye. One to note, especially if backed.
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat who has made an encouraging start for Gavin Cromwell, took strong hold when second of 11 in competitive and well-run handicap hurdle at this course (16.1f, good to soft) 29 days ago, no match for winner. In good hands and could improve.
C&D winner in March (sole success) and step back in right direction when 33/1, creditable seventh of 17 in handicap hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, good) 22 days ago. Not easy to make a case for. Return to this course offers some hope but others look better treated.
Beat subsequent winner to land a 2m maiden hurdle at Limerick in heavy ground in November but has since found graded/listed handicap company too hot. Still early days and this looks more realistic.
Landed second jumps success in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick in October and finished creditable eighth of 17 in handicap hurdle at Leopardstown (16f, good, 28/1) 22 days ago, never landed a blow. Could be competitive if more severe headgear has the desired effect.
Comfortable winner of a 14-runner novice hurdle (7/2) at Downpatrick (17.8f, good) on qualifying run in July 2024. Off since (left Neil McKnight) but one to consider if market vibes are positive on handicap/stable debut.
Bounced back to his best to get off the mark when winning 13-runner handicap hurdle over C&D and backed that up with a creditable fourth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (16f, heavy, 9/1) 22 days ago. In good heart but will need another step forward in better company.

Forecasts
Eachtotheirown (9/4), Chichester Park (5/1), Jazzy Matty (5/1), Harry's Dream (11/2), Fiver Friday (7/1), Free Flow (12/1), Garrybello (16/1), Piccolo Player (20/1), Immutable (22/1), Shinnhill (25/1), Someone's Wish (28/1), Black Bamboo (33/1), Feud (40/1)
In a wide-open handicap, it could pay to take a chance GARRYBELLO who returns on a handy mark and is partnered by Jack Kennedy for the first time. Last year's runner-up Jazzy Matty shaped well at Cheltenham last time and remains one to be interested in off his lower hurdles mark, while Chichester Park, Eachtotheirown and Fiver Friday head the list of possible improvers.

- Jazzy Matty5/1
