No promise in a bumper and 2 Exeter novice hurdles.
Too free in bumpers but showed more than first time up over hurdles when third of 9 in maiden at this course (16.5f, soft) 9 days ago. Should stay this longer trip but needs to find another chunk of improvement to be competitive.
Placed both starts in points but lacks scope and has been well held both outings over hurdles. Cheekpieces on for 1st time.
Made winning NH debut in 11-runner bumper (3/1) at Hereford (16.2f, good to soft) in December 2024, pushed out. Similar form when placed both starts over hurdles this term and one of the more likely contenders.
Point bumper winner who improved on Rules debut form to land 7-runner bumper at Plumpton (17.8f, soft) 47 days ago. This son of Gatewood is very much one to consider now stepping up in trip on hurdles debut.
Unbeaten in 2 bumpers last winter and made an encouraging start to hurdles career when second of 7 in Carlisle novice (2m, soft) on return. Took a step in the wrong direction at Newbury next time, but his profile remains broadly positive and will probably do better now faced with more of a test.
Runner-up sole start in Irish points before making a winning start under Rules in an Exeter bumper in January 2024. Chased home a smart type at the same course a month later but has made a discouraging start to hurdling career back from a long absence.
Useful in bumpers last season. Disappointing start to his hurdle career at Chepstow in October but much improved when fourth of 14 at Exeter (16.7f, soft) 43 days ago and appeals as the type to progress further now stepping up in trip.
Limited promise in 2 bumpers and well beaten on Hereford hurdling debut.
Promise when in the frame in a Worcester bumper and encouragement again when eighth of 15 in Newbury novice (16.3f, good to soft) on debut in this sphere in November. Should improve with longer trip promising to suit.
Tailed off in 2 bumpers so easily passed over on this switch to hurdling.
Showed modest form when placed all 4 outings over hurdles in Ireland and ran about as well as could be expected up in grade on first outing for this yard in listed event here (16.6f) 18 days ago. One to consider back in calmer waters.
Picked up for £60,000 after finishing runner-up on the second of her 2 starts between the flags last year. Joined a leading yard after but was always behind on Exeter bumper debut.

Useful bumper performer KILWAUGHTER stepped up on a low-key hurdling debut when fourth of 16 in a warm Exeter novice just over 6 weeks ago and appeals as the type to improve again now stepping up in trip, so he earns the vote. Harbour Island and Doctor On Call rate the main threats.
