Racing To School Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Chase

Dual hurdles winner who got off the mark over fences at Plumpton last spring, albeit in a weak 3-runner affair. Sharper for a comeback run at Hereford when creditable second of 7 over a similar trip in a handicap hurdle last month and should make his presence felt back in this sphere.

Not the easiest of rides (maiden) but posted a good third of 14 in handicap hurdle at Wincanton in November. Has the size for chasing and would've been placed had he not unseated at the last switched to fences there (20.2f, good to soft) on Boxing Day. Will be a threat if he stays on all fours here.

Irish point winner who showed ability over hurdles and chase debut fifth of 13 at Southwell (24.3f, good) in April 2024 was encouraging. Sent off favourite on the back of that at Stratford the following month but failed to take a step forward and has been absent since. Stable debut.

Runner-up on first 2 starts last season but that campaign ended with a series of non-completions. Again pulled up on return at Warwick and now finds himself with a fair bit to prove.

Was still bang there when falling 2 out in handicap chase at Wincanton (25f, soft) on penultimate start. However, he's none too consistent and it was therefore no great surprise that he failed to back that up at Taunton next time.

Drawn a blank since Hereford win 2 years ago but last month's Wincanton second to Lightonthewing shows he can be competitive from this reduced mark. Major player.

Multiple point winner in first half of 2024 but winless under Rules and has offered little in 2 runs back this winter after a lengthy absence.

Temperamental veteran who is winless since 2020 and easy to oppose following a low-key comeback run here last month (reportedly bled).

Poor maiden hurdler/chaser on balance of form and latest effort at Uttoxeter lacked spark. Now tried in blinkers.
