Four-time course winner. 3/1, career best when winning 10-runner handicap at this course (8f) 24 days ago. Probably not an easy one for the handicapper to pin down and a 4 lb rise looks manageable with this drop back to 7f a plus.
Winner at Carlisle in August. Creditable fifth of 11 in handicap at this course (8f, 22/1) 12 days ago, finding less than looked likely. Likely to find a few too good once more.
11/4, won 9-runner handicap at this C&D 15 days ago. Nudged up just 2 lb and this 7-y-o looks set for another prominent role.
Four-time C&D winner. Twelve runs since last win in 2025. Creditable second of 11 in handicap (10/1) at this course (8f) 12 days ago, having run of race. Solid each-way chance.
12/1, career best when winning 11-runner handicap at Southwell (7.1f) 10 days ago, suited by way race developed. It could be that things have now clicked for this 4-y-o and he looks dangerous up 3 lb.
11/1, respectable third of 12 in handicap at this course (6f) 12 days ago, running on. Down another 1 lb and she has to enter calculations.

Forecasts
Aisling Oscar (6/4), Moyowasi (5/2), Pallas Lord (5/1), Wyvern (7/1), Believe In Lies (12/1), Sovereign Class (12/1), Rain Cap (14/1), Amaysmont (16/1)
AISLING OSCAR has really sprouted wings for new connections on the all-weather this winter, finishing a good third on his stable debut at Wolverhampton in November prior to winning four on the bounce at this course. He could still be a step ahead of the handicapper and is taken to maintain his 100% record at Newcastle. Moyowasi and Wyvern both hit the target last time out and are feared, while Pallas Lord shouldn't be too far away either.
