Horse A-Z
Cityscape gelding who was pulled up in novice hurdle at Wincanton (15.2f, soft, 125/1) on NH debut 25 days ago. Up in trip with lots more required.

Timeform
150/1, no short-term promise when ninth of 11 in Hereford maiden hurdle on last month's debut. This son of Order of St George can do better in due course.
|
Timeform
Shaped well when third in Fos Las bumper his debut in November 2024 but well held in a stronger race at Cheltenham 11 months later and same story sent hurdling at Exeter last month.

Gee Force Flyer52
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: S Bowen| T: O Murphy| OR:  118| BF
Son of Jet Away who has shaped with promise when placed in a pair of 2m4f Ffos Las novice hurdles, a clear second of 4 on latter occasion in November. This winning pointer is open to more progress and holds very good claims.

£68,000 3-y-o, Order of St George gelding. Half-brother to 4 winners, including fair hurdler/useful chaser Credo, stays 29f, and fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Cyclop. Fifth on his sole start in point bumpers in March so no forlorn hope now going hurdling.
Timeform
A £140,000 buy after finishing runner-up sole start in Irish points. Shaped well for Harry Derham when a debut second in Sandown bumper last February and not disgraced when sixth of 22 in similar company at Punchestown three months later. One to consider now going hurdling for new yard.
|
Timeform
Third sole start in Irish points in February and fair form shown (at 2m4f) when fourth in Chepstow novice hurdle and fifth in similar company at Leicester this winter. In good hands and remains with potential.
|
Timeform
Picked up for £155,000 after winning Irish point last spring. Had wind op before a promising second of 8 in maiden at Leicester (20.5f heavy) on his debut last month. Open to progress with tongue tie added. Well in the mix.
|
Timeform
Shirocco gelding who was well supported when making a winning start in bumper at Haydock in May for Don Cantillon. Since changed hands for £100,000 and he rates an interesting prospect on his hurdles debut.

Fair form shown in bumpers for Nicky Henderson and left hurdles/yard debut form behind when second in a 14-runner Southwell maiden (15.8f, good to soft) 39 days ago. Solid claims if building on that.

Tao Enki37
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: J J Burke| T: A Ralph
Fair form shown in bumpers and took a step forward when a very good third of 8 in novice hurdle at Leicester (20.5f, heavy) 37 days ago. May do better still so he's one to consider.
|
Timeform
22/1, eighth of 14 in novice hurdle at Wetherby (19.7f, soft) on NH debut 15 days ago. This Telescope mare needs to take a step forward.
|
Timeform
Fair form when fourth in a couple of bumpers before making an encouraging start in this sphere when fourth of 10 in C&D novice 51 days ago. Since had a breathing op and can't be discounted with more to come.

Forecasts

Gee Force Flyer (7/4), Johnny's Jury (9/2), Shotgun Rider (5/1), So Proud (6/1), Kilwaughter (6/1), Mondoui'boy (13/2), Sutherland (8/1), A King Of Magic (10/1), Yeld To Call (14/1), My Own Lovely Lee (16/1), Tao Enki (25/1), Georgemani (50/1), Ciao Bellisima (66/1), Collanisi (66/1), Blazing Gaden (100/1), Blazing Saint (100/1)

Verdict

Plenty of these bring potential but the vote goes to GEE FORCE FLYER who is taken to build on his clear Ffos Las second last time out and get off the mark. Hurdling newcomer So Proud created a good impression when bagging a Haydock bumper in May and appeals as the main threat, although Johnny's Jury could also have a say despite a 12-month absence now starting out for Jamie Snowden. Shotgun Rider, Tao Enki, Kilwaughter and Mondoui'boy command respect too in this cracking maiden hurdle.
