Five-time winner over fences who was far from disgraced when sixth in Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham (20.2f) on return to action. Not in same form when eighth of 12 at Newbury a fortnight later but in a slightly weaker race, he got back on track when third at Ludlow.

Improved over hurdles last season, well positioned to land a hat-trick at Cheltenham (24f) on New Year's Day. However, has been pulled up last 2 outings, again found to have bled on seasonal/chase debut at Aintree in November. Others more persuasive following that.

Made a winning hurdling debut at this venue in 2023. Hasn't stood much racing since but a chaser on looks and following a breathing operation, he made an impressive winning start over fences at Uttoxeter a month ago (3m). Should be plenty more to come.

Successful sole start between the flags in 2022 and scored at second attempt over hurdles later that year. Unable to add to tally since over both sets of obstacles and November's return to action was hardly brimming with promise.

Opened chase account at this venue (21.5f) for Alison Thorpe in December 2024 but no show in 3 subsequent starts last season and he fared no better for his new yard when pulled up in handicap chase at Bangor (24.1f, heavy) 40 days ago. Cheekpieces replace tongue tie.

Fairly-useful staying hurdler who ran with credit when third over fences at Chepstow in February. Never really a factor both starts upon return in November but assessor is relenting.

Having dropped below last winning mark, returned to form when second at Carlisle in February and backed that up when filling the same position behind an unexposed rival at Hexham (24.2f, good to soft) 11 weeks later. Respected on return to action.

Unreliable but has dropped a fair way in the weights. Followed a sound third with a heavy defeat at Hereford, off the bridle a long way out and he's 4 lb out of the handicap here.

On appearance, chasing was always going to be ITSEEMSLIKEIT's game and he was very impressive when making a successful reappearance at Uttoxeter last month. In the hope he stands up to racing, there should be plenty more to come from him over the larger obstacles. Hunter Legend may offer most resistance, though Not Sure is of some interest on return.
