Won his first start in veteran's company at Warwick last February before also scoring in a similar event at Fakenham in May. Not at his best in 3 appearances so far this season but he's edging back down the weights and will have a serious chance if on-song.

Better than ever when winning the valuable Badger Beers at Wincanton on return in November following yet another breathing operation. No surprise that the handicapper has reacted strongly, dishing out a 9 lb rise, but the 11-y-o will be a big player if in a similar mood nonetheless.
Landed a brace of handicap chases (5 months apart) during first half of last season. Didn't get very far over the National fences on return in the Grand Sefton at Aintree but delivered an assured round when scoring in good style at Warwick (3m, good to soft) since and 5 lb rise doesn't look harsh.
Proved a revelation in veterans company last term notching fourth win of the campaign in Series Final at Market Rasen in January 2025. Failed to land a blow when returning to action at Cheltenham but that spin will have blown away the cobwebs and he's a live each-way candidate.
Bagged the Badger Beer at Wincanton in 2023 but has failed to complete on his last 4 starts, the latest of which was when pulled up in the Exeter veterans' handicap won by Credo last February.
Useful handicap chaser at his best and he was on a going day when landing a 5-runner contest in good style at Ludlow (25.6f, good to soft) last month. Couldn't be sure that he'll back that up here, though, especially considering that he has failed to fire both previous visits to this course.
Won 2 veteran events last spring and has acquitted herself well both starts this term, finishing third to Gustavian at Wincanton and then fourth of 12 over a marathon trip in the Berkshire National at Ascot. Now just 1 lb above last winning mark and merits respect with the visor back on.
On long losing run and while he would have a major chance if able to reproduce something akin to the pick of his form for Henry De Bromhead in Ireland, he is hard to warm to having run poorly on debut for new yard in the Warwick race won by Nocte Volatus.
Scored over hurdles and fences last spring and far from disgraced when sixth of 15 in a Naas listed handicap in November. However, his efforts this season have otherwise been poor and hopes now pinned on the returning cheekpieces working the oracle.

Forecasts
Nocte Volatus (11/4), Le Milos (5/1), Credo (5/1), Gustavian (11/2), Annsam (10/1), Gabbys Cross (11/1), Digby (11/1), Copperhead (12/1), Blackjack Magic (16/1)
CREDO has won two of her four previous starts when equipped with the visor and is of strong interest here with the headgear refitted, off a mark just 1 lb higher than when scoring at Carlisle last spring. Though yet to get into gear this season, Le Milos has slipped to a dangerous mark and is next on the list ahead of Badger Beers winner Gustavian. Copperhead and Nocte Volatus are others to consider in a competitive contest.
