Maiden pointer who bettered his hurdles form when second on chase debut at Warwick (25.5f) back in January. However, he turned in a concerning effort after 11 months off at Huntingdon recently, slowing up before unseating rider early on. This run should reveal more.
Placed several times in handicaps for the Jonjo and A J O'Neill stable and made the most of a good opportunity when taking Warwick maiden hurdle (21f, good to firm) on debut for new yard in October. Goes chasing now (fell early on sole previous attempt) and is not taken lightly.
Sole victory (runner-up 14 times) came here earlier this year and arrives on back of poor effort at this course 34 days ago. Others more appealing.
Made it 2 wins from 5 starts over fences when landing 9-runner handicap chase at Wetherby (24.2f, soft) 25 days ago. 5 lb higher now but must enter calculations.
Scored twice over fences last year, posting career best when easily taking 6-runner handicap at Southwell (24.3f, good, 9/4) 13 months ago. Not seen since, however, and market likely to prove best guide to claims on return.
Revitalised over hurdles last season, easy winner of Ffos Las handicap (23.9f) in February before following up at Exeter (23.1f) the following month. Bettered previous efforts in this sphere when third on last month's reappearance at Chepstow and likely has more to offer yet.
Fair chaser who posted solid second in 6-runner handicap chase (24f, soft) over C&D on return 34 days ago. Entitled to build on that and is one for shortlist.
Resumed winning ways over timber at Hereford in February and posted encouraging second in mares' handicap at Fakenham (21.2f) on seasonal/chase debut in October. Allowed to come home in own time after making bad mistake at Market Rasen since and can't be ruled out here. Cheekpieces on first time.
Failed to improve for step up in trip when sixth of 11 on handicap hurdle debut at Fontwell (21.8f, good to soft) 45 days ago. In excellent hands, though, and is worth monitoring in market on chase debut. Cheekpieces on first time.
Consistent sort who posted another creditable effort when third of 7 in handicap chase at Catterick (25.2f, good) 40 days ago. 1 lb lower now and ought to give another good account.
Not the most reliable but scored over fences at Hexham (24.2f) in March and back to that sort of form when creditable fifth of 12 in handicap chase (20/1) at Carlisle (26.1f, soft) 31 days ago. Each-way claims.
Showed benefit of reappearance run when good second of 9 in handicap chase at Leicester (22.7f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Remains fairly treated but his losing run continues to grow.
Posted solid in-frame efforts the last twice, latest when third of 8 in handicap chase at Southwell (24.3f, good to soft) 17 days ago. Still looking for first success, however, and finds himself 4 lb out of the weights here. Tongue strap back on.
