Tree Top Tyson^t⁵⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 12-1| J: B S Hughes| T: P Neville| OR: 111

11/2

Showed his Perth display to be no flash in the pan as he got off the mark in 3-runner maiden hurdle at Sedgefield (16.8f, good) in October. Sound-enough effort under a penalty at Wetherby and now goes handicapping.

Form: 8-66214

Hajey³⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: Tom Midgley⁽³⁾| T: Miss Tracy Waggott| OR: 110| CD

11/1

Below par in 3 starts last season but stepped up plenty on his reappearance when fourth at Sedgefield a month ago. Well weighted if building on that.

Form: 6/585-54

Escort'kheops²⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 12-0| J: K Brogan| T: L Horsfall| OR: 110

10/1

Made the frame all 3 completed starts in Irish points and still looked in need of the experience on second start in a bumper when seventh of 11 at Cheltenham in October. Pleasing start over hurdles in recent weeks and now makes quick switch to handicaps up in trip.

Form: 425-723

Soldierofthestorm²⁴³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-13| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 109

9/4

Hereford winner in February 2024 but lightly raced and patchy form since. Off since mid-field effort at Punchestown in April but this is easier and record fresh is encouraging.

Form: 3/38840-

Gardener²⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-11| J: Aaron Anderson⁽⁵⁾| T: M E Sowersby| OR: 107

80/1

Disappointing 2024/25 campaign and has left Olly Murphy having unseated rider on last month's return to chasing.

Form: U8345-U

Camarrate^t⁵⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-10| J: Theo Gillard| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 106

10/1

Fit from the Flat and returned to form when second of 6 at Wetherby in October. Same mark here so a repeat of that will ensure he's competitive.

Form: 13503-2

Singapore Trip^t¹⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: Alice Stevens⁽³⁾| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 104

17/2

Capitalised on a falling mark at Wetherby on return and a brace of third-place finishes confirm he's in excellent heart. No reasn why he won't go well again.

Form: P6-9133

The Clonmel Kid²²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Joe Williamson⁽³⁾| T: P A Kirby| OR: 104

10/1

Fair maiden hurdler but no impact both handicap starts at up to 3m.

Form: 3P2-P37

Caramelo Rapido¹⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: M Walford| OR: 102

10/1

Made steady progress over hurdles last season finishing a close second over 17f at Carlisle on handicap debut but found quick turnaround against him when disappointing at Perth. Not for the first time, his jumping lacked fluency on return.

Form: 60428-5

Wasthatok^t³⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Ian Power| T: P A Kirby| OR: 102| BF

13/2

Back on track when second at Wetherby and confirmed that promise with a ready success at Newcastle (20.3f, good to soft) last month. Didn't get very far over fences next time but remains of firm interest back over hurdles.

Form: 66721U

Evenwood Sonofagun^p,t³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Sean Quinlan| T: Lizzie Quinlan| OR: 101

40/1

Landed a quick-fire double at Cartmel in May but hit and miss since, in the process of running below form when falling at Perth in September and never a factor over this trip at Musselburgh.

Form: 2063F7

Born Like Me²³

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Jack Power⁽⁵⁾| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 98

28/1

Well held in 2 AW Flat outings and needs to leave level achieved in his qualifying runs behind to get competitive on handicap debut up in distance.

Form: 564

Scairp Dubh²³

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Danny McMenamin| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 94

16/1

Won point bumper in March and second in bumper here (sole start for Tjade Collier) in May. Little show over hurdles so far but handicaps more suitable.

Form: 1-2765

Forecasts

Soldierofthestorm (9/4), Tree Top Tyson (11/2), Wasthatok (13/2), Singapore Trip (17/2), Escort'kheops (10/1), The Clonmel Kid (10/1), Caramelo Rapido (10/1), Camarrate (10/1), Hajey (11/1), Book of Secrets (12/1), Scairp Dubh (16/1), Belvedere Blast (28/1), Born Like Me (28/1), Evenwood Sonofagun (40/1), Gardener (80/1)

Any number to consider with WASTHATOK getting the tentative vote in the hope he can cast aside an unseat over fences last time. Singapore Trip, Camarrate and Soldierofthestorm are a trio of dangers.
