Galidam^t³²

Age: 5| Weight: 12-0| J: B S Hughes| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 100

11/4

Fair hurdler in France who opened his account in 10-runner claimer at Moulins last September. Modest form at best on this side of the Channel, though chase debut third at Wetherby was more like it from his reduced mark. Can build on that.

Supreme George²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 12-0| J: Theo Gillard| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 100| D

7/2

Much improved on the back of breathing surgery when readily getting off the mark in 6-runner handicap chase at Ludlow (16f, good to soft) 4 weeks ago. Up 7 lb but can go well again.

Form: 655-351

Classical Sting^h⁴⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-12| J: Danny McMenamin| T: L Morgan| OR: 98

5/6

Didn't show a great deal in 3 maiden hurdles last winter but bred to be a chaser and a totally different proposition when making a winning handicap debut over fences at Kelso last month. One to keep on the right side of.

Form: 388-1

Conquer The Breeze^t⁴⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Ross Chapman| T: M A Barnes| OR: 83| D

14/1

Proved consistent this year and belatedly opened account at Hexham (15.6f, good to soft) in June. Still looks to be working way back to peak fitness back from a break and much depends on whether he can keep the mistakes down.

Forecasts

Classical Sting (5/6), Powerofjet (6/4), Galidam (11/4), Supreme George (7/2), Conquer The Breeze (14/1)

This looks a reasonable race for the grade with CLASSICAL STING taken to maintain his unbeaten record over the larger obstacles with improvement expected. Powerofjet looked good at Newcastle, while Supreme George also tasted success last time.
