Still a maiden but he is knocking on the door, travelling fluently long way when second of 6 in handicap hurdle here (21.2f, soft) 21 days ago. Up 2 lb but he can go very well dropped back in trip.
On a losing run but he was badly hampered early when only fifth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Carlisle (19.3f, soft) 26 days ago. Not discounted off a slipping mark.
Modest form shown in bumpers but she took a step forward in this sphere when third of 6 in novice hurdle at Newcastle (16.9f, good) 15 days ago. May do better still now going handicapping but others look better treated at these weights.
Opened his account at Perth (2m4f) in July and has continued in good form, not quite lasting home when fifth of 10 in 2m5f Wetherby handicap in October on his final run for Adam Nicol. Goes back in trip for his new stable here and one to consider.
Maiden pointer who has offered little in four runs in this sphere, cheekpieces tried when a well-held fourth on his handicap debut over 2m here last month. Headgear dispensed with now but needs this longer trip to spark improvement.
Maiden hurdler who was tried in cheekpieces for the first time when a well-held fourth of 6 in handicap here (21.2f, soft) 21 days ago. Not easy to make a case for.
Course winner but he arrives well below par, just fifth of 6 in handicap hurdle here (16.8f, soft) 21 days ago. Others are more persuasive.
Long-standing maiden but he wasn't discredited when fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Perth (20.2f, good to soft) in September, set a lot to do. Weighted to go well after a break.

Forecasts
Livano Bello (15/8), Kaviar Wood (5/2), Fairly Fulling (4/1), Top Flight Century (9/1), Mr Globalist (14/1), Heritier (14/1), Miss Friday Lions (16/1), Mr Rumbalicious (25/1), Balranald (33/1)
A few of these arrrive with a question mark against them so this looks a good opportunity for LIVANO BELLO to build on his recent second here now reverted in distance and get off the mark. Lizzie Quinlan saddles both Heritier and Mr Globalist and they could emerge as the main threats to Micky Hammond's top-weight in that order. David Thompson's new recruit Top Flight Century completes the shortlist.
