At The Races App Expert Tips Conditional Jockeys' Novices' Handicap Hurdle

Has looked an improved model this season, winning handicaps at Fontwell (17.7f) and Windsor (2½m) with a minimum of fuss. Had to work harder to land the hat-trick at Plumpton (15.9f) last time but that form has been given a boost and he's not discounted despite a 7 lb rise.

Point winner who showed clear signs of ability in a handful of appearances in maiden hurdles for Paul Nolan. Never looked like justifying support with tongue tie removed on stable debut at Uttoxeter in September but worth noting if money comes again following a further 3-month absence.

Best effort yet on second hurdles start when runner-up in maiden at Lingfield in February (finishing ahead of a couple of subsequent improvers). Unseated early on handicap debut but ran creditably under more testing conditions when fifth at Exeter last time. Remains with potential.

Offered something to work with when fourth on bumper debut. Arrives on the back of three quickfire hurdle runs (again showed ability when fourth at Fontwell on penultimate start). One to monitor for support upped in trip on handicap bow.

Fair form when placed in bumpers last season and built on the promise of his qualifying run when fourth in a stronger handicap over 2m at Windsor last month, paying the price late on following a rapid move into contention. Back down in grade and there could be more to come now upped in distance.

Maiden finished well-backed fourth (first-time cheekpieces) in a solid handicap for the grade at Uttoxeter (15.8f) on reappearance. Deeper ground perhaps a factor when disappointing over 2½m at Ffos Las next time (also lost both fore shoes) and no surprise to see him closer to form here.
