Bluey²⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Ben Jones| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 129| D

13/8

Bumper winner who also landed 2 mares' novice hurdles last season. After 6 months off, got back on the up when making a successful chasing debut in novice handicap at Kempton in October, before running at least as well when fourth of 7 at Newbury 20 days ago. Can make another bold bid.

All The Glory^p⁵³

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 130| D

11/1

Useful hurdler who didn't shape too badly in a match at Chepstow on chase debut/return, but soon detached (jumped ponderously) in a more competitive event at Aintree last time. Cheekpieces now back on for first time over fences, so she could yet do better in this sphere.

Form: D360-26

Hollygrove Cha Cha⁴⁶

4/6

Dual bumper winner and successful 3 of 5 starts over hurdles last term, notably Grade 2 mares' novice at Sandown. Pulled up at Cheltenham Festival final outing, before facing stiff task when third of 4 in listed event at Carlisle on seasonal/chase debut. Major player dropped in grade.

Form: 1121P-3

Forecasts

Hollygrove Cha Cha (4/6), Bluey (13/8), All The Glory (11/1), Asian Spice (50/1)

Having won 5 of her first 7 career starts, HOLLYGROVE CHA CHA gave a good account on chase debut against older rivals of the opposite sex at Carlisle last month, so she is taken to open her account in this sphere with improvement to come. Bluey has made a promising start over fences and is feared most, ahead of All The Glory.
