Lookaway⁶¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-13| J: J M Quinlan| T: N B King| OR: 135| CD

11/4

Useful hurdler who achieved a similar level of form in 2 chases last November, winning at Uttoxeter before third in Grade 2 novice at Cheltenham. Off 11 months (had wind op), showed he retains his ability when close third of 10 in 2m Uttoxeter handicap hurdle on reappearance. Same mark back chasing.

Form: 035/13-3

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: Caoilin Quinn| T: G & J Moore| OR: 131| D

14/1

Won Ascot handicap chase off 1 lb lower last December. Better effort this season when fifth of 8 back at Ascot last time, although his jumping was a bit mixed. Yard going well.

Form: 1602-55

Mighty Bandit¹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: S Bowen| T: W Greatrex| OR: 129

3/1

Fairly useful hurdles winner for Gordon Elliott. Has struggled in a light career in that sphere for this yard but, fit from a spell on the Flat (including a Ffos Las win), he made a positive start over fences when second over C&D 19 days ago. Claims if he can build on that.

Form: 19P0/P-2

Uncle Phil^h,t¹⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-7| J: Harry Cobden| T: Chester Williams| OR: 129| D

50/1

Smart handicap chaser at his best for Willie Mullins but offered little last season and always behind all 3 starts for this yard.

Form: P68-PP7

Torneo³¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: G Sheehan| T: Jamie Snowden| OR: 126| D

6/1

Took well to chasing last term, with 2m novice handicap wins at Taunton and Chepstow. Creditable runner-up efforts on both starts this season, latterly going down by only a neck at Cheltenham. Raised 4 lb for that.

Form: 131F-22

Highlands Legacy³⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 124| D

13/8

Didn't do much wrong over hurdles and solid start to chase career, winning 2m Worcester handicap (good to soft) before second in a similar race at Aintree (good). The Aintree form has been strongly boosted and he's likely still on a favourable mark with further progress likely.

Form: 2534-12

Forecasts

Highlands Legacy (13/8), Lookaway (11/4), Mighty Bandit (3/1), Torneo (6/1), Kotmask (14/1), Uncle Phil (50/1)

The form of HIGHLANDS LEGACY's latest Aintree second has been strongly boosted, including by the third Glengouly in the big handicap chase at Cheltenham last weekend, and he can show he's ahead of his mark. Lookaway made a positive return from an absence over hurdles at Uttoxeter in October and can follow the selection home.
