Off the mark for present connections at Kempton (7f) in October and, nudged up 2 lb, he ran creditably when sixth of 10 in handicap at this course (7f, AW) 14 days ago, weakening final 100 yds. Likely to be thereabouts again.
Course winner who capitalised on his much lower turf mark when landing 10-runner handicap at Brighton (7f, good) in June. Absent since and possible the market will prove a good guide here.
Latest win at Chelmsford (6f) in November. 15/2, bit below form sixth of 10 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 14 days ago, plugging on. No forlorn hope.
Tremendous servant to connections who bagged Great St Wilfrid at Ripon (6f) in August. Hasn't been operating at his best more recently, weakening final 1f when fifth of 7 in seller at Southwell (6.1f) 21 days ago. Handicapper has certainly given him a chance if bouncing back, however.
4-time course winner. 3 wins from 8 runs this year. 16/1, career best when winning 10-runner handicap at this C&D (AW) 9 days ago, driven out. No surprise to see him out under a penalty and he's respected.
Course winner. Fourteen runs since last win in 2024. 2/1, not disgraced when third of 9 in handicap at this course (5f, AW) 14 days ago. Lurking on a handy mark but all 3 of his career victories have come at the minimum trip.

Forecasts
Valley Ofthe Kings (3/1), Intervention (7/2), Counsel (7/2), Society Man (18/5), Tiger Crusade (15/2), Mc Loven (17/2)
SOCIETY MAN has got himself right back on track returned to all-weather of late and, essentially unexposed as a sprinter, could be worth siding with to come out on top despite the possibility of a tactical race. Counsel comes here in excellent heart and is next best ahead of Mc Loven, whilst a good pace to aim at will help the returning Tiger Crusade.
