Winner of sole Irish point and looked a useful recruit for new connections when seeing off 10 rivals on his Southwell hurdle debut (2m, good to soft) 31 days ago. This looks an excellent chance for him to defy a penalty.

Modest Flat winner. Starts out over hurdles in a race lacking depth but still a surprise were he to trouble Adonedeal.

Modest in bumpers/on Flat. Better effort in novice hurdles last month when fourth of 5 at Lingfield (2m, good) 18 days ago. Might be the one for the forecast spot.

Fair form at best on Flat but well held in Chelmsford handicap on recent return from a long absence. Can only watch now hurdling.

Verdict

It's impossible to oppose Southwell winner ADONEDEAL. Reteti shaped a bit better at Kempton last time and might be the one to follow him home.
