Campaigned over fences last season, posting a career best when a wide-margin winner of Newcastle's Eider in February. Well held since, pulled up in Old Roan Chase at Aintree and again well held over hurdles at Cheltenham (21f) 4 weeks ago. Passed over until displaying more positive signs.

Runner-up only outing in Irish points (Jan 2024) and bright start over hurdles following a low-key bumper debut, off the mark at second attempt in a Taunton maiden (19f) back in February. Unexposed granted this test on return/handicap debut and he's not discounted.

Made a winning debut in a Wincanton novice (21.3f) last winter and absent a full 12 months prior to posting an improved third of 11 on handicap hurdle debut at Chepstow (19.5f) 22 days ago, staying on after mistake at second last. Step up in trip should suit.

A fair winning hurdler for Harry Fry who capitalised on his lower mark in this sphere when successful in 9-runner handicap chase at Uttoxeter (3m, heavy) on final start for Simon Hodgson in February. Respected back over hurdles starting out for new stable following 10 months off.

Having laid down solid foundations in a pair of maiden hurdles last term, DRAYTON FLYER resumed with a very good second on handicap debut at Uttoxeter 28 days ago. He likely has even more to offer and earns the vote over fellow in-form rival Paso Doble who scored at Fontwell in October before a respectable third at Sandown last time. A Perfect Day stayed on for third at Chepstow recently and should appreciate this step up in trip.
