2/1

Useful hurdler last season and looked a smart recruit to chasing when making a successful start over the larger obstacles in 20.5f Ayr novice last month.

Califet En Vol²⁵²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson| OR: 137| BF| D

5/4

Dual winner as a novice over hurdles, including 6-runner listed contest at Huntingdon (19.6f) in February and signed off with a respectable midfield effort in Aintree Grade 1 in the spring (did too much too soon). Second in a point at the start of his career. Very much a chasing type.

Form: 23/1216-

Royal Infantry^t1²⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 138| D

9/4

Useful hurdler, reaching the frame in competitive handicaps at Chepstow (19.5f, good to firm) and this venue (21f, soft) in recent months. A point background suggests he should take to fences. Tongue tied first time.

Form: 1452-34

Forecasts

Califet En Vol (5/4), Sixmilebridge (2/1), Royal Infantry (9/4), Tintintin (33/1)

SIXMILEBRIDGE is taken to put his experience to good use but chase newcomers Califet En Vol and Royal Infantry were of a similar standard to him over hurdles so could pose threats if taking to this new discipline.
