Point winner who made it third time lucky over hurdles on his reappearance at Hexham (2m, soft) in October. Solid opener in this sphere when finding just one too good in Aintree handicap (2m, good) later that month and he's a major player with improvement likely. Tongue strap added.

Every chance when fell last in sole point and made a winning hurdle last November. Didn't really build on that in 2 subsequent starts last season but retains potential on chase/handicap debut after 10 months off. Has first-time tongue tie fitted. Engaged 1.25 Warwick Thursday.

Positive start to his chase career in recent months, building on Newton Abbot second when going one place better in Wincanton handicap (2m, good) 22 days ago. Can likely progress again, although the ground will be a lot softer this afternoon.

A three-time winner (1 hurdle, 2 chase) last term and resumed with good runner-up efforts at Uttoxeter and over C&D (both heavy) last month. Should go well again.

SPADESTEP shaped promisingly when second on his Ayr chase debut and can strike at the second time of asking over fences. Wincanton winner Authoceltic is another lightly-raced chaser who should have more to offer, while Passing Kate is respected off the same mark as when chasing home a progressive type here last month.
