Useful form in bumpers, faring best of the British-trained runners when fourth in Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. After 8 months, raced too freely when well beaten in maiden at Newbury (16.3f, good to soft) on hurdles bow in November, but he could yet do better.

Winner on Flat in France and stepped up on hurdles debut effort when third in 4-y-o event at Auteuil last September. However, making first run since leaving J. P. H. Dubois he was well held in maiden at Taunton (19f, soft) in February. Remains early days for current yard.

Fair handicapper on the Flat nowadays, running better than for a while when third at Nottingham (10.2f, soft) in October, despite having again been very slowly away. He wasn't in the same form at Kempton last time, though. Cheekpieces retained as he goes hurdling.

Runner-up twice from 3 starts in Irish points and shaped encouragingly sent hurdling when fourth of 11 in maiden at Southwell (15.8f, soft) last month. Open to improvement with recent run behind him and he could be ready to get off the mark.

Unseated at the last over hurdles on debut and then mid-field in a bumper, before showing improved form when third in 16-runner maiden hurdle at Galway (16.7f, soft) in September. Could still be better to come as he makes first start since leaving Colm A. Murphy.

Some encouragement at big odds (250/1) when sixth of 18 in a Cheltenham bumper on debut, but below that level at Aintree on return. Stepped forward from recent run when second of 4 in maiden at this C&D (soft) sent hurdling last month, though will need to find more again.

€35,000 3-y-o, £170,000 4-y-o, Kalanisi mare. Dam (h141), 2m-2½m hurdle winner, half-sister to useful hurdler/very smart chaser (stays 3¼m) Three Card Brag. Won sole start in Irish points in October last year and she's one to note on Rules debut.

This can go the way of NORTHANGER ABBEY, who made an encouraging start to his Rules career behind some promising types when fourth in a Southwell maiden hurdle last month. With improvement to come, he is preferred to Onefournine who is respected having won her only start in points, while The Cistercian could also be in the mix on his stable debut.
