Much improved from hurdling debut effort when making the frame next 3 starts, including when fourth of 14 on handicap bow at Perth (16.2f) in June. However, after 5 months off he stopped quickly when pulled up at Kelso (20.9f) in November. Bounce back called for.

Irish point winner but failed to step forward from her hurdling debut run when fourth of 6 in maiden at Hexham (20.1f, good) in October, not seeing her race out. One to note as she drops in trip making a quick switch to handicaps.

Brought down early on debut but has offered encouragement in 3 starts since, finishing with running left when seventh of 11 in maiden at Southwell (15.8f, soft) 24 days ago. Remains capable of better now handicapping, so he could be in the mix.

Fairly useful handicapper at best on Flat but struggled for form this year. However, making third start over hurdles, he shaped better than previously when fourth of 9 in maiden at Newcastle (16.9f, good) in October, so he's interesting now handicapping in this sphere.

Remains a maiden, but making first start since leaving Eoin Doyle he returned to form when third of 10 in handicap at Sedgefield (19.8f, soft) 25 days ago. On a workable mark so he could be ready to open his account.

Making second start in handicaps, finished closer than previously when second at Carlisle (17f) in February. However, she has failed to build on that upped in trip last 2 outings, tailed off at Ayr (19.5f, soft) on return. Needs to find more back at this distance.

Little encouragement in 3 starts over hurdles so far, well-beaten fourth of 7 in junior hurdle at Warwick (16f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Needs to leave previous efforts behind as she makes handicap debut from a long way out of the weights.

NEWPORT made an encouraging start for his new yard when third at Sedgefield last month, form boosted by the winner scoring again next time, and he can build on that effort to get off the mark. A pair of handicap hurdle debutants could be the main dangers, with Romancier feared most ahead of Crimson Road.
