Won the 2023 Albert Bartlett but has lost his way over fences, pulled up on 3 of 4 starts, most recently in the Grand National. Eases in class back from 8 months off having had a wind operation and while he's in the right hands, he has lots to prove.

Likeable sort who won back-to-back Newbury handicaps (23.4f) early in 2024. Excellent second at Plumpton and like stablemate Stay Away Fay, he's undergone breathing surgery ahead of return from 20 months off.

A dual chase winner (at up to 3m2f) at Uttoxeter and Wincanton last season. Pulled up in Eider at Newcastle in February and feared as well as could be expected from out of the weights when eighth of 19 in a competitive affair at Sandown in April. Back on correct mark and good record fresh.

Progressive over fences in cheekpieces in 2023/24, culminating with a win at Haydock. Found further improvement when 1½ lengths second of 15 in Welsh National on return last season and while he's been restricted to just 2 runs since, he's sure to step up on his Cheltenham return.

From a low initial base, made seamless progress in handicaps, opening his account over hurdles prior to registering a quartet of further wins over fences last season. Picked up where he left off at Uttoxeter last month and this likeable sort may yet have more to offer.

Winning pointer who ended last season with chase wins at Ludlow and Uttoxeter. Up in class and no impact from out of the weights on October's reappearance and this will reveal more.

Bagged a pair of C&D handicap chases in December 2021. Lightly-raced and largely out of sorts since but he hinted at a revival in cheekpieces when fourth of 13 in 3m1f handicap chase at Ffos Las 39 days ago. Possibilities with headgear on again.

Returned to form with headgear omitted when edging home in a Lingfield marathon (28.8f, soft) in January. Race may have come too soon the following month but ran no sort of race after 8 months off at Ffos Las and fared no better over hurdles at Warwick since. Blinkered from out of the weights.

Twice a winner in the mud in 2023/24. Second in a pair of small-field contests last season but out of the weights on return for yard yet to hit full stride.

Given his profile, it's hard to ignore the claims of AWORKINPROGRESS given he continues to pass each test in handicaps. From 4 lb higher, the 7-timer is firmly on the cards, with Jubilee Express and Pats Fancy feared most unless there's market support for Makin'yourmindup on his return from a lengthy absence.
