Resumed his progress to get off the mark in a Tipperary maiden in October. Well held from a stiff opening mark at Cheltenham later that month and subsequently bought out of Emmett Mullins' yard for €20,000.

Down the field on his only run in bumpers and failed to see his race out again with a tongue strap retained on his hurdling debut at Aintree just under 6 weeks ago.

Order of St George gelding. Half-brother to useful hurdler Deploy The Getaway and fair hurdle winner/chaser Stellar Stream. Dam unraced. Has had a breathing operation ahead of debut.

Malinas gelding who opened his account in points at the second attempt in January but showed nothing on his Rules debut at this course last month.

Decent jumps pedigree and off the mark at third attempt in maiden points in March. Promising start under Rules when second in a 12-runner C&D novice (good to soft) and, with that form working out well and improvement anticipated, he's clearly the one to beat.

Showed some promise in bumpers but made a decidedly underwhelming start over hurdles (lost shoe) when well beaten at Uttoxeter last month.

Fair maiden on the Flat in France who possibly flattered by his proximity to some promising types in appearing to step up on his sole outing for Stuart Edmunds 14 months earlier when seventh of 10 in a falsely-run maiden at Ffos Las (20f, good to soft) 39 days ago.

Forecasts

The Price Of Peace (10/11), Ignore The Door (5/2), Watchful Protector (7/2), Times Are Green (20/1), Aaron (33/1), Order In The House (33/1), The Moonlight Man (66/1), Arctic Conditions (66/1)

Verdict

THE PRICE OF PEACE produced a promising first effort under Rules when runner-up in a Ffos Las maiden in October and, with that form proving strong, he's a straightforward choice to go one better. The form of Ignore The Door's hurdling debut win is nothing to write home about, but he's entitled to improve nonetheless and is preferred to Watchful Protector for forecast purposes.
