Bongo Man³²

Age: 5| Weight: 12-0| J: Lt W Aprahamian⁽⁷⁾| T: Billy Aprahamian| OR: 105| BF

9/2

Lightly-raced maiden who posted his best effort when third in maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter in May. However, disappointed in similar event at Huntingdon on return and opening mark looks on the harsh side.

Form: 6/52-38

Hidor De Bersy¹⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: Mrs Vicki Sollitt⁽⁷⁾| T: Mrs M Rowley| OR: 97| D

6/4

Ended his time with Tom Symonds on a low note but has fallen appreciably in the weights. Didn't show a great deal starting out for this in January but much better when second at Plumpton on return. Entitled to build on that.

Form: 01P2/4-2

Western Soldier¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Capt Isabel Harrison⁽⁷⁾| T: J W Mullins| OR: 96| C

1/1

All the better for belated return/yard debut when winning at this course (15.2f, good) 2 weeks ago. Up 7 lb but remains well treated on old form.

Form: P7/P2-41

Non-Runners

Roadshow⁴⁶

Weight: 12-0| Age: 4

T: P F Nicholls J: Bdr Jody Sole

Forecasts

Western Soldier (1/1), Hidor De Bersy (6/4), Roadshow (4/1), Bongo Man (9/2)

WESTERN SOLDIER showed the benefit of his reappearance/yard debut when winning here 2 weeks ago and looks capable of defying a 7 lb rise. Roadshow disappointed last time but produced a career-best to win at Sedgefield the time before so is worth another chance back from a break.
