Lightly raced Irish point winner improved to win on second start over fences at Chepstow last month and followed up off the same mark in cheekpieces (retained) at Market Rasen 8 days on. Looks a sound jumper and no surprise to see him make a bold bid for the hat-trick in a winnable race.

Smallish mare (dam unraced half-sister to useful chaser) again looked less than straightforward under pressure when chasing home the outsider in a 5-runner handicap hurdle at Fakenham (20f) last month. Faces a different test on chase debut but arrives in good heart.

Fair hurdler at best. Yet to match that form over fences but has been running well in weak novice handicap chases, runner-up at Huntingdon and perhaps slightly fortunate to go one better at Fakenham (24.2f) last time. Will likely need to improve to follow up.

Capitalised on falling mark when scoring at third time of asking over fences in 3m Market Rasen handicap. Soon off the bridle and ran no sort of race in bid to follow up at Worcester in October and remains to be seen if he's on a going day following a short break.

Much improved when off the mark on chase debut at Ffos Las (16f) in June and matched that form when runner-up to a subsequent winner at Stratford (22.6f) on return. Turned in a laboured effort at Chepstow 13 days ago but every chance if he can recapture previous form with cheekpieces refitted.

Standout effort over jumps when successful in a 5-runner handicap at Warwick (3m, good) in May. Below form all 3 starts since, for all he can be forgiven latest run when doing too much too soon under a more positive ride. May prove more competitive if ridden more efficiently here.
