Glajou^b,t¹⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 12-0| J: Harriet Tucker⁽⁷⁾| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 96| CD

20/1

Unreliable sort who has been out of sorts in recent months. Others are more persuasive.

We Got Your Back^h²⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-10| J: B S Hughes| T: L Morgan| OR: 92| BF| D

7/2

Landed back-to-back chase wins last winter and opened his account for this season with a career best at Hexham. Good second there since and should go well again.

Form: 233312

Flash In The Park³²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: R T Dunne| T: C & A Pogson| OR: 91

5/1

More miss than hit overall often finding little. Becoming well handicapped at least and has run well here before.

Form: 3-P2468

Take Centre Stage^p¹⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: Ross Chapman| T: R Menzies| OR: 91| D

14/1

Generally struggled since off the mark at Newcastle (16.3f, heavy) in February 2024 but made a satisfactory return after 11 months off when third at Newcastle 18 days ago, giving best only to an improver and one with a fitness edge. Player if building on that.

Form: 25/65F-3

Texard⁸

Age: 10| Weight: 11-5| J: Philip Armson⁽³⁾| T: R J Armson| OR: 87| D

66/1

Capitalised on a much-reduced mark when striking at Market Rasen in April 2024. Below par thereafter, though, and well held both starts this season after a long absence.

Form: 67P5-P5

Livy's Lad¹⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-3| J: James Davies| T: N J Gifford| OR: 85| CD

4/6

Left previous form well behind when making a winning chase/stable debut over C&D 18 days ago and can defy a 5 lb rise with further improvement likely.

Form: 45867-1

Zara's Universe^p¹⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 10-4| J: Joe Williamson⁽³⁾| T: A Crook| OR: 72| CD

40/1

Gained a third success over fences here in March 2024 but just one effort of note since and she is generally worth taking on.

Form: 6P2P6-6

Chateau Du Lys^t¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-3| J: Lee Edwards| T: T R Gretton| OR: 71

28/1

Little solid form.

Form: 00763-P

Forecasts

Livy's Lad (4/6), We Got Your Back (7/2), Flash In The Park (5/1), Take Centre Stage (14/1), Glajou (20/1), Chateau Du Lys (28/1), Zara's Universe (40/1), Texard (66/1)

LIVY'S LAD had been beaten out of sight on all 4 starts over hurdles for Tim Vaughan but proved a totally different proposition when making a winning chase bow over C&D on first start for this yard on return and he's taken to defy a 5 lb rise. We Got Your Back arrives at the top of his game and is the obvious threat.
