BAR 1 Betting Drinmore Novice Chase (Grade 1)

Smart handicap performance when getting off the mark over fences in the Scottish Grand National at Ayr (4m, good to soft) under Harry Cobden in April. Significantly down in trip on return to action.

Pulled up on chase debut a year ago but different proposition returned to fences this season, winning all 3 starts, including Grade 3s at Galway In July and Tipperary in October. More to come and another bold bid looks assured.

Progressed into a useful hurdler last term and has taken it up another notch over fences this terms, making it 2-2 when seeing off 4 rivals in a Cork Grade 3 over this trip 4 weeks ago. Likely capable of even better.

Smart hurdler/chaser, completing a hat-trick over fences between April and June. Good fifth of 19 in Troytown at Navan (3m, heavy) 14 days ago but Romeo Coolio looks very much the stable number one here.

Grade 1 novice hurdle winner at Leopardstown last Christmas and also placed in 2 Grade 1s at Cheltenham and Aintree in the spring. Easy winner of Down Royal maiden switched to fences on return and rates a very exciting prospect for a yard with a strong record in this Grade 1.

Fairly useful hurdler in France. Showed an aptitude for chasing when sixth of 16 in maiden at Naas (2mf, soft) on return for new yard but surely biting off more than he can chew here.
