3 wins from 10 runs this year. Career best when winning 7-runner handicap (9/2) at this C&D 7 days ago. Carries penalty. Good chance again.
6f winner in France who stepped up on return/yard debut display when third at Pontefract (6f, heavy) in October. Shade underwhelming when seventh of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (5.1f) 20 days ago but her mark is at least easing all the time.
Back-to-back winner of 5f handicaps earlier this year, latterly over C&D and VERY best performances since have come on AW, posting a good second of 9 in handicap at this C&D 35 days ago. Live player again.
C&D winner. Latest win at Newcastle in October. Good second of 12 in handicap (4/1) at Newcastle (5f) 10 days ago. No surprise to see another good showing.
Maiden winner in 2023 but finished sixth of 7 in Listed race at Naas in April of that year and absent prior to finishing well-beaten seventeenth of 18 to Carla Ridge in listed race at the Curragh (6f) 55 days ago. Switch to handicaps more suitable on debut for new stable but market best guide.
C&D winner. Latest win at Chelmsford City in August. 11/1, 5½ lengths seventh of 9 to Star Chorus in handicap at this C&D 66 days ago, the run best excused having been stopped in his run at a crucial point. No forlorn hope.
C&D winner. 3 wins from 13 runs this year. Respectable fourth of 11 in handicap at Bath (5f, good to firm, 7/1) 59 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Andrew Balding. Hood back on.
Proved no less keen but that never impacted his finishing effort when narrowly bagging C&D handicap on penultimate start in September. However, disappointed when eighth of 9 in handicap back here 5 weeks ago and now starts out for new connections.
Dual novice winner at 2 yrs (latterly under a penalty over C&D). However, not kicked on from a promising reappearance third over C&D back in March in handful of turf runs. Switch back to an artificial surface surely rates the plus now.

Forecasts
Sturlasson (6/4), Blinky (7/2), Captain Kinsella (11/2), Alligator Alley (6/1), Cloud King (10/1), Accrual (10/1), Star Chorus (20/1), Arctic Summer (33/1), Pineapple Island (80/1)
STURLASSON's resurgence for his present stable showed no signs of coming to a halt when he added a second C&D success to his tally (just about his best effort yet) 7 days ago. That was a stronger contest than this and he ought to take some stopping under a penalty. Blinky and Alligator Alley may be the pair to give John Ryan's thriving 4-y-o most to think about.
- Sturlasson6/4
