Promising in bumpers, finishing fourth in a course listed event before landing short odds at Taunton in March (final start for Paul Nicholls). Good prospect for hurdling and new stable has a strong record in this race.

Irish point winner in May 2023. It took a while for new connections to get him to the track but it proved worth the wait when coming from off the pace to win a Ludlow bumper in April. Should be up to making presence felt in a race like this now hurdling.

Nicky Henderson does well in this race so the suggestion is his new recruit ACT OF INNOCENCE, who showed quite useful form in bumpers last season. The main threat will likely come from Sinnatra and Harbour Island, who also represent powerful stables and were both a promising second on hurdle debut earlier in the month.
