Eden Farm Champions Cup Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Won sole start in Irish points and successful on first 2 starts under Rules, making all in bumpers at Ayr and Aintree. No impact in the Champion Bumper and shaped as if amiss at short odds on hurdling debut back at Cheltenham 5 weeks ago, running too badly to be true. Remains with potential.

Won a heavy-ground Ffos Las bumper on debut last December and likely to come on for first run over hurdles after 11 months off (had second breathing operation in interim) at Chepstow in a maiden set to throw up winners. Leading claims.

Showed a bit on the first of 2 starts in bumpers last season but difficult to take much encouragement from hurdling debut at Uttoxeter after 9 months off. Might need more time.

Hasn't lived up to expectations on either start so far, tried tongue tied back from a breathing operation 8 months on from his bumper debut but doing worst of the market principals in Perth maiden hurdle over this trip, dropping away. Lots more needed.

Winning Irish pointer who has made a promising start in 2m Chepstow hurdles, unlucky not to finish closer on return then better than the result 3 weeks ago (still second 3 out). Tongue tie goes on now up in trip and can do better.

From the family of smart hurdler/useful chaser who became unreliable (stayed 3¼m) Ninetieth Minute. Placed both starts in Irish points, runner-up last time (Oct 2024). Absence to overcome but got to be of interest on hurdles debut.
