Bettered previous handicap form when runner-up at Fontwell (21.8f, soft) on sole start last season. 13-month absence to overcome, but resumes with his yard in top form and he's potentially well treated.

Runner-up on the second of 2 starts in Irish points and much improved when making a successful handicap debut at Fakenham last month. Perhaps found the racing come too soon at Chepstow a week later, but he looks vulnerable now that his new mark has kicked in all the same.

Confirmed her previous promise in handicaps when opening her account in 6-runner affair at Fakenham on penultimate start. Subsequently failed to fire in the handicap won by Itaintmebabe at the same course, but she's better than that and will be a threat if able to bounce back.

Yet to score over hurdles, but there were some positives to take from his fourth of 8 at Stratford last month. Best to draw a line though effort in first-time blinkers (retained) at Plumpton recently (saddle slipped) and he's a live each-way candidate.

Sent off favourite when seventh in a big-field bumper at the 2022 Punchestown Festival (only start for Willie Mullins). Little impact in 3 runs over hurdles for Gary Moore during 2023/24 campaign and while better can be expected now handicapping, he's entitled to need this following 21 months off.

Remains a maiden following 26 starts overall, but latest second in this headgear combination at Ffos Las (2½m, soft) was up there with his best form and he should make his presence felt.

Appeared to take a step forward when third of 11 on second run in handicap company over 2m here in January, but ended last season with a couple of lesser efforts and others make more appeal.

Showed he can be competitive from a basement mark when third of 10 at this course in February 2024, but he hasn't been able to match that since and overall record now stands at 0-13.

Unseated rider sole start in Irish points and hasn't shown much in 3 runs over hurdles at Plumpton. Big step forward needed now pitched into a handicap.

Though absent for over a year, DEFI NONANTAIS resumes on an appealing mark (5 lb lower than when second on his sole appearance last season at Fontwell) and it would be no surprise whatsoever if he's raring to go with the Joe Tizzard team in such good form. Getaway With You may well emerge as the main danger if backing up his latest effort, while Dartmouth Rose and Dreamweaver are others to consider.
