Progressive mare who proved better than ever when defying a career-high mark in good style at Stratford (26.4f) in May. Shaped as if needing the run after 5 months off when sixth of 7 in handicap hurdle at Wincanton (21.4f) 16 days ago but this will require another step forward up in class.

Proved better than ever when scoring readily (on back of a wind op) in a handicap here (24.5f) last December. Exploits have been underwhelming since, including after 7 months off when seventh of 11 in handicap hurdle at Bangor (19.6f) 12 days ago. Still, she's a player on her best form.

9/4
Fairly useful Irish mare who has been in good form on Flat/over hurdles, extending her run of second place finishes in 4-runner mares' hurdle at Wexford (20f, soft) 4 weeks ago. Shrewd stable's representatives always command respect and she's worth a second look.

11/2
Ex-Irish recruit who has thrived with a visor fitted, landing a 4-timer over the summer for this yard. Found Gr. 2 company too much next time and whilst she ran well when fourth in handicap at Wincanton (21.4f) 16 days ago, her revised mark was enough to anchor her. Much more required at this level.

Picked up where she left off when making a winning reappearance at Uttoxeter (20f) last October and ended the campaign with an excellent third in a big-field mares' handicap at Cheltenham (20.2f) in April. Never figured on Flat later that month but record fresh is a plus for all this is a tough ask.

11/4
Bumper/mares' maiden hurdle scorer who acquitted herself well up in class earlier this term, running a cracker when runner-up in Grade 1 mares' novice at Fairyhouse (20f) in April. Very interesting making seasonal return with definite potential for better still.

Forecasts

Dream On Baby (9/4), That'll Do Moss (11/4), Bethpage (11/2), Della Casa Lunga (11/2), Laravie (11/2), Pretending (11/1)

Verdict

THAT'LL DO MOSS ended a very productive novice campaign over hurdles with an excellent second in Grade 1 company at Fairyhouse back in April and, remaining capable of better still on the back of just 4 starts in this sphere, she makes a good deal of appeal. Irish raider Dream On Baby has been in good form under both codes and is next best ahead of Della Casa Lunga.
