7/4
Dual hurdles winner at around 2½m who had undergone a second wind operation prior to making a winning return/chase debut at Bangor 26 days ago, making all and taking very well to the test. 7 lb rise should see her competitive again back up in trip.

10/3
Lightly-raced winning hurdler who offered something to work on in a refitted hood when fourth on chase debut at Worcester (23f) in September. Latest Chepstow sixth was disappointing but her overall profile suggests she's a likely candidate to bounce back.

10/1
Fairly useful handicap chaser for Chris Gordon in 2023/24 season who was tight in the betting following 19 months off starting out for new yard but took a heavy mid-race fall at Hereford (25.2f) 11 days ago. Represents a stable in fine form though, and interesting if supported again.

9/2
Bumper winner who posted a career-best display when successful in novices' handicap hurdle at Exeter (21.6f) last December. Below that level when sixth of 8 in mares' handicap hurdle at Ludlow (21.2f) back in February and interesting what the market makes of her now chasing on return.

10/3
Jukebox Jury mare who has quickly found her feet for new yard, landing back-to-back handicap hurdles at Market Rasen/Ludlow last month. Boasts chase experience for former yard and she commands plenty of respect in hat-trick bid switched back to larger obstacles.

25/1
Improver sent chasing in 2023/24, typically jumping well when decisively landing 5-runner mares' handicap here (19.9f) in January of last year. Wasn't really pulling up any trees in points earlier this year but no surprise to see her make a better fist of things back under Rules.

Forecasts

Molto Bene (7/4), Tankardstown Diva (10/3), Lahinch Wave (10/3), Baby Sage (9/2), Presenting A Queen (10/1), Jacks Touch (25/1)

Verdict

MOLTO BENE mirrored her start to the last campaign by landing an interesting handicap, this time over fences at Bangor 26 days ago, taking well to this discipline and ridden to maximise that aptitude. She makes plenty of appeal again from a 7 lb higher mark, with resurgent dual hurdles scorer Tankardstown Diva and Presenting A Queen next best, in that order.
