Improved when landing a double in a 3-runner handicap chase over C&D in February but fell heavily when bidding for the hat-trick at Carlisle the following month. Market should guide expectations on his return.

Improved for current yard over hurdles, beating a subsequent listed handicap hurdle winner when landing a double at Killarney in July. Has shown an aptitude for chasing, for all he was well held in a deeper race on handicap bow at Wexford last time. Likely to prove capable of better at some stage.

Took advantage of a drop back in grade when successful at Huntingdon last November. Needed the run when a well held third at Warwick on return earlier this month and while this is a rise in grade, he's now 1 lb lower than his latest winning mark.

Hasn't always been the most assured jumper but had no problems in that department when landing back-to-back handicaps last month, albeit a fortunate winner when 9 lengths ahead of Sleeping Satellite at Bangor (17.4f). Back up in trip for hat-trick bid and should remain competitive off 2 lb higher.

Course winner bounced back to form in a first-time tongue tie when making all in a 7-runner handicap at Stratford (19.4f) and shaped as if still in good form when chasing home Neigh Botha at Bangor. 2 lb better off with that rival and should give another good account back up in trip.

Gamely bagged a second chase victory in 2m4f Newcastle handicap chase in March. That form was franked but he was disappointing at Carlisle a month later and likely needed the run on reappearance at Ayr earlier this month. May still be working his way up to peak fitness.
