Runner-up sole start in points and whilst he's yet to better modest form over hurdles, he did shape as if he'll come on for the run after 7 months off when seventh of 13 in handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (20f) 19 days ago, considerately handled when held. May do better now attentions switch to chasing.
C&D hurdles winner equipped with a visor in March and good placed efforts over hurdles/fences next 2 starts. Shaped as if he'd come on for the run after 4 months off when fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle here (21.8f) 44 days ago and better anticipated back over fence in refitted cheekpieces.
Remains a maiden after 20 NH runs but holding his form well switched to larger obstacles in recent months, good second of 6 in handicap chase at this C&D (good) 21 days ago, not quicken close home. Has good chance on form.
Little show over hurdles but big improvement when winning twice over fences under testing conditions at Leicester (22.7f) last winter. Different test provided by Fakenham seemed to catch him out when pulled up there in April but not one to write off, not least if forecast rain arrives.
Both career victories have come at this venue, the latest a C&D handicap chase in August. Exploits have been somewhat mixed subsequently, making little impression when fifth of 10 in handicap chase at this course (19.5f) 9 days ago. However, certainly not out of things here from reduced mark.
A winning pointer but offered little under Rules to date, off 7 months/switched yards prior to finishing a well beaten last of 8 in a maiden hurdle here (19.1f) 24 days ago. Switch to larger obstacles on handicap debut needs to bring about marked improvement.
Lightly-raced maiden who was placed for the first time when third of 6 in handicap chase at Fakenham (24.2f, good) back in April. However, achieved little in form terms on that occasion and much more required if he's to open his account here.

Atreides (3/1), Summer In Milan (10/3), Bank On Frank (4/1), Footloose Man (5/1), Ted The Thief (6/1), Ronnies Reflection (10/1), Chateau Du Lys (18/1)
SUMMER IN MILAN shaped like he'd come for the run after 4 months off when fourth over hurdles here in October and with cheekpieces refitted back over fences, he's fancied to make a bold bid for the in-form Chris Gordon yard. Atreides has become expensive to follow but his consistency is hard to knock and he's the obvious threat. Bank On Frank commands a close market check now his attentions switch to larger obstacles for the first time.
