Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (GBB Race)

Looked on the up when completing a hat-trick in C&D handicap hurdle. His progress has stalled since but he should strip fitter for last month's Cheltenham reappearance. Hooded first time.

Proved at least as good as ever in making a successful return to hurdling in 10-runner handicap at Uttoxeter (2½m, good) in September and backed that up with a fine fourth in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow. Respected for yard which continues in tremendous form.

Misfired on yard debut with cheekpieces added in June but has proved a different proposition since the visor went on, making it 4 in a row when accounting for 7 rivals at Worcester in September. More on his plate off 10 lb higher in this stronger race but further progress a distinct possibility.

Very much on the up when completing a 2½m handicap hurdle hat-trick in the spring. Too keen on his comeback run at Market Rasen but quickly back on the up with a near miss at Newton Abbot (21.5f, good to soft) last month. Player.

Much improved over fences for Hughie Morrison last season, winning 3 times, including here. Has a slightly lower mark back hurdling on return. Claims if fully tuned after 6 months off.

Should have ended last season with a win over 20.5f at Ayr, collared near the finish after an untidy jump at the last. Reappears with his leading stable in good form. Considered.

Successful over 3m at Uttoxeter in May. Has come up short of higher marks since but better than latest eighth of 20 at Cheltenham might suggests after being given too much to do by his 7 lb claimer.
