Irish point winner who dispelled several lesser displays when doubling hurdles tally at Kelso (22.7f, good) in April. Showed much more than she did on chase debut when third at Hexham (24.2f, good) on return last month and this 7-y-o has to enter calculations.
Improved on the back of a second wind op and with a tongue strap enlisted when landing a mares' maiden hurdle at Taunton (16.5f, good to soft) in January. Pulled up on subsequent handicap debut at Kelso, but this point winner is nevertheless interesting on chase debut for new yard.
Won first 2 starts over hurdles and positive start to last season when runner-up in a Bangor handicap in that sphere. However, she ended the campaign with a couple of very low-key efforts switched to fences and it's probably best to look elsewhere.
Dual winner last December and placed on several occasions thereafter. Drop back in trip counted against her at Cheltenham (16.3f, good) when last seen in April and she is a major player faced with a more suitable stamina test here.
Back on track when second at Uttoxeter (2½m, good to soft) in June, but failed to build on that over the same C&D next time and she's probably worth taking on now switched to fences.
Easy winner of an Irish point and made winning chasing debut at Kelso (23.4f, good to soft) last October. Mixed record since, but closed off last season with creditable placed efforts here and at Newcastle and she's one to consider with a first-time tongue strap enlisted.
Likeable type who didn't do much wrong switched to fences last season, making a winning debut in this sphere at Ayr (19.5f, good to soft) last October and runner-up on each of her 3 subsequent starts. Solid claims.
Opened her account at the fifth attempt over fences at Newcastle (23.4f, heavy) in March 2023. However, she hasn't been seen out since and it's probably best to assume that this run will be needed.

Forecasts
Northern Air (5/2), Dollar Collar (7/2), Ostrava Du Berlais (11/2), Celestial Fashion (6/1), Similar Story (13/2), Gilbertina (15/2), Easy To Follow (10/1), Maid Of Houxty (66/1)
The fact that NORTHERN AIR has already had two wind operations is slightly disconcerting given her low-mileage, but it wasn't a bad maiden hurdle that she won at Taunton last winter and the 6-y-o is of strong interest now switched to fences on debut for the Dan Skelton yard, particularly bearing in mind that she was a decisive winner of her sole start between the flags. Ostrava du Berlais and Celestial Fashion are feared most in that order of preference.
