€135,000 purchase opened his hurdles account at the third attempt at Taunton (16.5f) last season and got back on track dropped in grade following wind surgery when easily winning a 6-runner handicap hurdle at Plumpton (15.9f, soft) 20 days ago. There could well be further progress to come.

Verdict

A tricky 4-runner handicap but it could pay to take a chance on ROYAL WAY who looks on a workable mark and may be able to capitalise on his return following a breathing operation. Nardaran was much improved following wind surgery when an easy winner at Plumpton last time and has to be feared if arriving in similar form.
