Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden Hurdle

Ran to a similar level as on hurdle debut when 13/2, fourth of 10 in novice hurdle at Limerick (19f, soft) 22 days ago. Could be competitive but likely to be seen to better effect in handicaps.

Placed in Points and was given a considerate introduction to hurdling when tenth of 14 in novice hurdle at Wexford (16.4f, soft, 40/1) on NH debut 13 days ago, not knocked about. May prove one for the longer term.

Unplaced both completed starts in points (latest Dec 2024) but showed a bit when 66/1, fourth of 9 in novice hurdle at Galway (16.4f, good to soft) on NH debut 15 days ago. Entitled to step forward from that run but may need more time.

Easily beat only other finisher sole start in points (Apr 2024). Looked a good prospect when finishing first past the post on bumper/Rules debut (subsequently demoted), always holding on but caused interference by hanging left. This looks a good opportunity to make a winning hurdle debut.

€14,000 3-y-o, Jet Away gelding. Half-brother to modest hurdler Wyoming Baby. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser around 2m Moon Over Germany. Likely one for the longer-term, unless the market suggests otherwise.

Always behind when 250/1, twelfth of 14 in novice hurdle at Punchestown (16.6f, soft) 19 days ago. One of the less likely winners here.

Maxios gelding. Dam (b109), won bumper on only start, half-sister to useful chaser (stays 3m) Keep Wondering. Mark Walsh in the saddle on debut (owner also runs Bulgaden Castle) and worth a market check.

£75,000 5-y-o, Balko gelding. Dam (c112/h116) dual-French chase winner around 2m. Ran out on point debut but successful on only other point start (Mar 2025). In excellent hands and merits plenty of respect on debut.

Shaped as if one for later on when ninth of 15 in novice hurdle at Listowel (16f, good to soft) on NH debut 160 days ago. Best to look elsewhere.

Again showed nothing when 500/1, pulled up in novice hurdle at Roscommon (20.2f, good to soft) 41 days ago.

Walk In The Park mare. Won sole start in points (Mar 2025) but was easy to back and never on terms when sixth of 9 in novice hurdle at Galway (16.4f, good to soft) on NH debut 15 days ago. Likely needs more time but betting should offer some clues with yard also saddling Bulgaden Castle.
