1/4

€55,000 3-y-o, Flemensfirth mare. Won sole start in points and well backed, she made a bright start under Rules when runner-up in a Tipperary bumper on sole outing for Jonathan Fogarty in May. Joined upwardly-mobile yard going great guns and big shout for all the drop in trip may not suit ideally.

28/1

Buck's Boum mare. Dam unraced. Yard 0-14 with their runners in this sphere in last 5 seasons and she's likely best watched on debut.

5/1

Telescope sister to 1½m winner Lookingdandy. Dam (h91), placed over hurdles, 1½m winner in Germany who stayed 2m on Flat, half-sister to useful hurdler/top-class chaser The Giant Bolster. Intriguing runner for Flat stable with Sean Bowen booked and market confidence would look significant.

Doyen mare. Sister to modest hurdle winner/fair chaser Paddy In The Caddy. Dam (h63) ran once over hurdles. Betting can likely prove a useful guide on debut.

Forecasts

Katie's Melody (1/4), Jollie Dame (9/4), Telegram Dam (5/1), Under The Duck (12/1), Ledecka (25/1), Roberta Bishop (28/1)

A winner of her only start in points, KATIE'S MELODY was outpointed only by a potentially useful sort when runner-up in a Tipperary bumper 6 months ago and, having since joined the upwardly-mobile Harry Derham yard, she could well be up to going one place better here. Jollie Dame is a most interesting newcomer and also commands respect. Telegram Dam is another intriguing debutante.
