Off nearly 2 years prior to last season's comeback but starts the new campaign a useful prospect after his impressive win at Ayr on final start. 12 lb higher for that success but that may still underestimate him.

Generally struggled since scoring at Hexham last summer and others make more appeal.

Capitalised on a falling mark at Catterick in February and ran well there under a penalty next time. Behind until taking a heavy fall at Hexham on return, however, and looked held when brought down 2 out here 2 weeks ago.

Progressive initially from a low base in handicaps, gaining second career success at Newcastle. However, seen only twice last season and made an underwhelming belated start to his chasing career at Carlisle in February. Easy to oppose from out of the handicap.
