Two-time hurdle winner (heavy) dictated to make a winning start over fences at Uttoxeter (20f, soft) in July last year, beating a fairly useful type. Didn't see his race out on final start for Donald McCain but has joined a very capable yard and looks interesting if back to his best on return.

Off the mark over fences in a race that fell apart at Sedgefield but confirmed his progression (following another wind op) when winning a series final handicap chase at Carlisle in Match, typically travelling strongly. No surprise to see him run well as he bids for a hat-trick on reappearance.

Won on chase debut for previous connections but pulled up both subsequent chase starts. Struggled for form this year, pulling up at Market Rasen on final start for Alastair Ralph. Has won off a break but remains to be seen if the market expects a revival on first start for new connections.

Successful in a 4-runner renewal of this race last year, his latest win (off 1 lb lower mark) coming over this C&D in May. Ran one of his lesser races at Sedgefield last time but has been freshened up and should be competitive off this sort of mark.

Arrives in good heart, second to a course specialist over hurdles at Kelso and ran every bit as well returned to fences when 1¼ lengths second to We Got Your Back over C&D last month, not helping herself by jumping right. May be able to reverse that form now 2 lb better off.

Grade 1 winner in his prime but arrives on a losing run, finishing well held in a trio of starts this year, failing to better modest form. Veteran has something to prove on his return.

Plenty of promise on his second start over fences last season (solid form) and built on that when a game winner of a 9-runner handicap chase over C&D in April. Still early days as a chaser and he's respected if ready to roll on reappearance.

Landed back-to-back chase wins last winter and opened his account for this season with a career best when scoring by 1¼ lengths from O'Faolains Glory over C&D last time, seeing out his race well. Should remain competitive off 3 lb higher mark.

Notched second success in this sphere when coming from off the pace (race run to suit) to land a 17f Plumpton handicap in April. Well held off much higher mark over the same C&D next time and was found to have bled at Fakenham in May. Others look more solid.

Proved consistent this year and belatedly opened his account over C&D in June. Reverted to making mistakes but ran a cracker from 6 lb out of the handicap to finish second at Perth the following month. Claims if firing on all cylinders following a break.

It could pay to take a chance on FORCING BULL who has made an interesting yard switch and may be able to defy an absence to make it 2 wins from 4 starts over fences. Dream Jet won this race last year and has been successful over C&D since, he ought to be competitive following a break, while O Faolains Glory and We Got Your Back should again be in the mix over C&D.
