Lightly raced in points, with one placing to show from it, but justified favouritism in a weak bumper at Newton Abbot in April. Ran to a fair level sent hurdling when fourth of 15 in a 2m Chepstow novice 4 weeks ago, well positioned. 7 lb amateur now takes over in the saddle.

Crystal Ocean gelding who was bought for £30,000 after finishing runner-up on completed start in Irish points (Apr 2025). Joined a successful yard and would enter the reckoning if supported.

Reached the frame in 2 points and encouraging start under Rules when second of 7 in a bumper at Bellewstown (17.2f) in May. Subsequently sold out of Mrs Caroline McCaldin's yard for €125,000 and shaped promisingly when third of 14 on last month's Chepstow hurdling bow. Hood on and likely to improve.

€80,000 3-y-o, Affinisea gelding. Brother to fairly useful hurdler/useful chase winner Ifiwerearichman. Dam (h99), maiden hurdler, 1¼m winner on Flat. Won sole start in Irish points (Mar 2025) and requires a close look in the betting ahead of Rules debut.

Won sole start in point bumpers and improved on Rules debut form in a first-time tongue strap when third of 6 in a C&D bumper in May. Has the physique for jumping.

Underwent breathing surgery before an encouraging debut fourth in Doncaster bumper in March and again showed some promise when filling same spot in a C&D maiden 12 days ago. Possibly more one for handicaps after this run, though.

Placed only from 4 starts in points but made a good start to his Rules career when second of 10 in a bumper at Windsor (good to soft) in January. Shaped second best at Exeter the following month and interesting now going hurdling for in-form yard.

Left debut form well behind to land a course bumper in January, just holding on. Couldn't quite repeat that effort at Plumpton 3 months later but is bred to make an above-average jumper.

Fairly useful Flat winner but made an unpromising start over hurdles when pulled up in Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham on hurdling debut in January.

DOCTORS HILLS shaped promisingly when third on last month's hurdling/stable debut at Chepstow, so he's the most appealing candidate with improvement on the cards. Kocktail Bleu showed plenty in bumpers and is one to note now going hurdling for an in-form stable, with the selection's stablemate Call Me Legend also worthy of respect.
