Secret Des Dieux²²⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 12-0| J: S Bowen| T: James Owen| OR: 116| CD

10/11

Fair form in bumpers and odds-on winner of C&D maiden/Hereford novice hurdles on first 2 starts of last season. Creditable efforts on 2 of his 3 starts thereafter in handicap hurdles and he's certainly worth a look now chasing on return with Sean Bowen booked.

Form: 711354-

Iskar D'airy^t¹⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: Caoilin Quinn| T: G & J Moore| OR: 111| D

8/1

Has a very good record when fitted with a tongue tie, winning a trio of handicaps over fences in the spring. Left the impression his first start for 5 months was needed when fifth of 6 in handicap chase at Kempton (18f) 10 days ago and he's well worth another chance from his revised mark.

Form: 7121-15

Belle Montrose^t¹²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-9| J: Benjamin Macey⁽⁷⁾| T: S Drinkwater| OR: 97| CD

3/1

Maiden hurdler who has taken well to larger obstacles, gaining a second success from 3 starts in this sphere when bagging 3-runner C&D mares' handicap 12 days ago, belting the last but still cruising clear. Can rate higher still on that evidence and she's shortlisted.

Form: 3-83141

Pottersjetamay^t¹⁵⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 10-4| J: J M Quinlan| T: M Crawley| OR: 92

4/1

Maiden who was running respectably when last seen, runner-up over hurdles at Southwell (15.8f) prior to filling same spot in 4-runner C&D handicap chase when last seen in June. Certainly not out of things if ready to roll back from 5 months off.

Form: 8575-22

Forecasts

Secret Des Dieux (10/11), Belle Montrose (3/1), Pottersjetamay (4/1), Iskar D'airy (8/1)

BELLE MONTROSE wasted no time getting back on track returned to this code when cruising clear of 2 rivals over C&D 12 days ago and whilst this rates more demanding, she could well be the answer again with further progress in the offing. Iskar D'airy should strip fitter for a recent run at Kempton and may emerge as the chief threat. Secret des Dieux commands a close market check going chasing for the first time.
