Fairly useful 2m Flat winner for Sir Mark Prescott and scored 3 times over hurdles for this yard last summer. However, his efforts on the level and in this sphere since returning from a break/wind op in June have not been particularly enthralling but this is a drop in class.

Has gained both career wins at this venue over 19.1f, most recently in April. Off since but represents good yard so no surprise were she to return on her game.

French recruit and fair maiden hurdler/chaser last season, albeit he ended the campaign in slightly disappointing fashion. Returns having had a breathing operation and now goes handicapping. Market will prove useful.
|
Bought for £56,000 after finishing third in an Irish point and quietly progressive form under Rules, second of 13 at Worcester last month. Makes this quick switch to handicaps and he's likely to improve again.
|
Below expectations sole outing in bumpers but left hurdling debut form behind to win 10-runner maiden at Southwell (15.8f, soft, 13/8) in February, jumping fluently and making all. Didn't find much on handicap debut/reappearance last month but expected to come on for that.
|
Modest Flat maiden posted his best effort when second in a juvenile hurdle over C&D in December, likely would have won barring a costly late error. Well held in a much more competitive affair on handicap debut at Wincanton but easy to excuse reappearance run (saddle slipped).

Forecasts
Brave Knight (2/1), Karton Plein (2/1), Batwomen (5/1), Diamond Ambition (7/1), Le Galli Bier (10/1), St Lukes Chelsea (12/1)
BRAVE KNIGHT could do with brushing up his jumping but this represents a drop in class and he's selected to take full advantage. Diamond Ambition needs to improve to defy this mark but that is perfectly possible, while course-regular Batwomen also needs considering on her return.
- Brave Knight2/1
- Batwomen5/1
