Useful hurdler and quickly reached a similar standard over fences last season, scoring on reappearance at Uttoxeter (2m) in October. Good second at Ascot a month later and whilst things didn't go to plan thereafter (fell final start) returns with yard in good form and he's well worth considering

Opened his chase account from a 4 lb lower mark at Punchestown (16.2f) in June. No better than midfield on 3 of his 4 subsequent starts, seventh of 10 at Killarney (17f) in August. Switched yards ahead of this and interesting if the market speaks in his favour. Hood back on.

Unreliable type who got off the mark for 2025 in 2m handicap at Perth in July. Looked set to collect back there next time but was worried out of it late on and eased a little in the weights having finished fourth in a C&D handicap 38 days ago. Others stronger for win purposes. Cheekpieces back on.

RARE EDITION remains low-mileage over fences and resumes with his stable going nicely, so he's selected to make a winning reappearance for the second successive season. Thistle Ask is of a similar ilk and having ended the last campaign with a win at Musselburgh merits serious consideration having joined the Dan Skelton yard in the interim. Netywell may emerge best of the remainder.
